WLP644 Saccharomyces "Bruxellensis" Trois

Belgian yeast strain, can be used to add brett-like character to beers at up to 100%.

WLP644 Saccharomyces "Bruxellensis" Trois - Formerly [incorrectly] classified as a Brettanomyces strain. More information on this here.

Traditionally used for wild yeast-like fermentations, this strain produces a slightly tart beer with delicate characteristics of mango and pineapple. Can also be used to produce effervescence when bottle-conditioning.


Attenuation: 80%+;

Flocculation: Low;

Optimum Ferm. Temp: 21C - 30C


Liquid Yeasts are shipped with ice in an insulated bag. We recommend using express post to ensure that the yeast arrives in peak condition.
